Today I am going to discuss my personal opinions about difference of men and women cosmetics and review SUN STICK :)

I would appreciate you read along even though it gets boring due to topics on hormone and difference of men and women's skin. <3

First, let's talk about the difference of men and women's skin :)

.

Basically, cosmetics are categorized by skin type.
But there's one more thing you should consider.

It is sex.

.

From general ideas, men's skin is oily, dark, rough, etc..
Women's skin is soft, glossy, light, moist.. right?

.

It is because of difference of male hormone-testosterone- and female hormone-estrogen.

.

Known as male hormone, testosterone developes sebvaceous glands(sebum) and causes extensive collagen composition. On the other hand, estrogen, known as female hormone, pulls surrounding moist and attributes to forming of hyaluronic acid.

So men tend to secrete 5 times of sebum as much as women does.

.

So compared to women's skin, men's skin is more elastic and wrinkles appear late.
Moreover, men's skin is 6 times thicker than that of women's.

Wrinkles appear late as skin is thicker.
But once wrinkles appear, wrinkles get deeper as skin is thicker.

Men's skin secrete a lot of sebum. But keeps 1/3 of moist compared to women's skin. So it is relatively dry.

.

Especially, men loses moist away by losing skin layer when shaving. and frequent drinking reduces forming of glutathione, resulting to fragile skin towards UV rays.

Tried on back of my hand. Moistful and not oily. and no sign of white turbidity.
LANIEGE says it has matte touch.
It is not that matte. Rather, it has soft and fresh touch.

I heard that men don't like sun protection since they consider it annoying to put sunscreen on hands and apply on face.
You don't have to. Just apply directly on your face. So convenient.

It has various functions such as waterproof, moisturizing, and protection of skin cell from UV rays.

It is for all skin type. So you don't have to check skin type:)

LANEIGE considered problems of men's skin- lack of moist and sebum.
This product deserves HOMME on its title.

One thing I want to talk about.
It's not just men who are annoyed when applying products~
I think pretty many women are not applying sun protection for the same reason.

So I recommend this product for women, too.
No need to check skin type. Just for people who do not use sun protection much.

It is applied thinly.
and No much time is required. Convenient.

Apart from UV ray block, you can also moisturize your skin.
Catch two birds with one stone :)

Ingredients for men's and women's do not differ much.
Especially for sun protection, it is just for formulation being watery or not.

So women can use HOMME product this time.

One difference.
Women's skin is thin and easily gets dry. So women prefer emulsion and cream type while men tend to use gel type for quick absorption.

By the way, these days, many men have thiner skin than women. So you don't have to keep yourself in HOMME or FEMME boundary. Just use whatever your skin gets right.

If men have thin and dry skin, they can also use nutrition pack or basic care kits that women use.

In conclusion, in my opinion, men's and women's cosmetics does not differ much. It's just marketing strategy and slight difference of formulation and ingredients.
